 Hi, I'm Kayti Murphy

I’m a digital media professional and award-winning screenwriter who is passionate about storytelling.  Throughout my career, I have interviewed more than 2,500 people from all walks of life; each with their own unique stories, experiences, and histories. 

I created Blue Soul Films to help people capture the moments in life that matter, from their wedding day, to special events and life films through quality photography and video services.

Prior to establishing Blue Soul Films, I worked for more than a decade as a Digital Communications Manager where I produced a wide range of photos and videos to support organisational storytelling. I am also an award-winning screenwriter, and the recipient of the Australian Writers' Guild Monte Miller Award in 2023.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies (Film & Television) and English, and a Masters in Media Studies from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.

I have more than 15 years' experience helping people and organisations share their stories. I have a natural and warm photography style and pride myself on making people feel safe and comfortable in front of the camera.
